Easter Manicure #1 ;-)

Well, I promised yesterday that I would have a couple Easter-y manicures for you all. Today is manicure #1. I was unsure of what I wanted to do. I knew I wanted to try grunge look that my friend, Jamie, over at Nails Adored came up with. You can see the actual tutorial HERE It's a really awesome concept. So anyway, I knew I wanted to try that tutorial, however, I heard it can take a bit of time, and having two kids constantly at my feet, time is what I don't have. Too much time anyway. SO with that said, I talked to my friend Erika over at Polish Fixation and wanted to see if she could come up with any ideas. So she had said try a "skittles" look with bright neon colors (the colors I had planned to use in my grunge effect look), and use the grunge effect on an accent nail. So that is exactly what I did. :-) On my thumb I have 3 coats of China Glaze - Sexy In the City, my pointer finger is 3 coats of Zoya - Pippa, on my middle finger is 3 coats of China Glaze - Pink Voltage (Neon), my ring finger is my accent finger, then my pinky I have 3 coats of China Glaze - In The Lime Light.

To do my accent nail, I did two coats of Sally Hansen - White On, then with the above posted colors, followed the tutorial and did the "grunge effect". I really like the way it turned out.

What do you think? I actually really LOVE this mani! This is not something I would normally do, but it was fun and spunky! I really like it!

Secret Bunny - A England - Saint George

Hello lovelies! Happy Easter week! I will have a couple Easter manicures I plan on doing. My first one will be on tomorrows post. :-) But starting off the Easter week, I was part of a HUGE Secret Bunny swap. Let's just say I got SPOILED! One of the polishes I got was my very first A England, and this beauty is Saint George. BEAUTIFUL. Pictures really do not do this polish justice. Especially since I didn't have much sun, so I had to just go with natural light. But here it is. I did two coats of Saint George, but honestly, it could have probably been a one coat-er. It covers BEAUTIFULLY. I stamped with my new stamping plates from my good friend Jacque. You can see her blog over at Ambi(tious) Nails It's sort of hard to see in the pictures. But I really loved this mani!
