Well, I promised yesterday that I would have a couple Easter-y manicures for you all. Today is manicure #1. I was unsure of what I wanted to do. I knew I wanted to try grunge look that my friend, Jamie, over at Nails Adored came up with. You can see the actual tutorial HERE It's a really awesome concept. So anyway, I knew I wanted to try that tutorial, however, I heard it can take a bit of time, and having two kids constantly at my feet, time is what I don't have. Too much time anyway. SO with that said, I talked to my friend Erika over at Polish Fixation and wanted to see if she could come up with any ideas. So she had said try a "skittles" look with bright neon colors (the colors I had planned to use in my grunge effect look), and use the grunge effect on an accent nail. So that is exactly what I did. :-) On my thumb I have 3 coats of China Glaze - Sexy In the City, my pointer finger is 3 coats of Zoya - Pippa, on my middle finger is 3 coats of China Glaze - Pink Voltage (Neon), my ring finger is my accent finger, then my pinky I have 3 coats of China Glaze - In The Lime Light.
To do my accent nail, I did two coats of Sally Hansen - White On, then with the above posted colors, followed the tutorial and did the "grunge effect". I really like the way it turned out.
What do you think? I actually really LOVE this mani! This is not something I would normally do, but it was fun and spunky! I really like it!

Secret Bunny - A England - Saint George
Hello lovelies! Happy Easter week! I will have a couple Easter manicures I plan on doing. My first one will be on tomorrows post. :-) But starting off the Easter week, I was part of a HUGE Secret Bunny swap. Let's just say I got SPOILED! One of the polishes I got was my very first A England, and this beauty is Saint George. BEAUTIFUL. Pictures really do not do this polish justice. Especially since I didn't have much sun, so I had to just go with natural light. But here it is. I did two coats of Saint George, but honestly, it could have probably been a one coat-er. It covers BEAUTIFULLY. I stamped with my new stamping plates from my good friend Jacque. You can see her blog over at Ambi(tious) Nails It's sort of hard to see in the pictures. But I really loved this mani!

Out The Door - Northern Lights
Hello Lovies! Happy Thursday! Today I am blogging about the lovely Zoya - Jancyn and Out The Door Northern Lights (OTDNL) top coat. I absolutely Love this mani!!!
I used 3 coats of Jancyn, then I did two coats of OTDNL. I could have done away with just one coat of OTDNL but I wanted more of the holo look. :-) What do you think?
Here is Jancyn by herself

Pink Dot Ombre Manicure
Happy Wednesday all! I hope you are all having a great hump day!
For this manicure I was inspired by a friend of mine, Lindsey, over at Neverland Nail Blog. You can see what I was inspired by, by clicking here.
With this mani, I wasn't too happy about it. After I did it I went and re-looked at her post, and realized a few things. 1.) I should have used different pinks that weren't so close. 2.) I should have spaced them out. 3.) I need more practice with my dotting tool.
I used three coats of China Glaze - Shocking Pink (Neon) for my base color. Then I took Zoya - Jolene as my bottom two rows of dots (the ones near my tips). Then I took O-P-I - I'm Indi-A Mood For Love as my middle two rows of dots. Then I took Zoya - Dana as my last rows of dots. I wasn't happy with it so I took two coats of Confetti - Ice Ice Baby to add a little sparkle. Then topped with Seche Vite. What do you think?
No flash
And a closer upper :-) You can "kind of" see the different colors....

Sinful Colors - Beauty!
Hello everyone! I hope you are all well!
So, I have only used one Sinful Colors before and I LOOOOOVED it. I was looking at swatches of the new Girls and Pearls line and fell in love. SO I went and bought me the whole collection. I then did a manicure in probably my one of my favorites from that collex, which is Sweet Dreams. She is a beauty! I used two coats of Sweet Dreams and then I took my dotting tool and did a line with SC - Firefly, which is also in the collection. What do you think?
See the sparkle?? Isn't she beautiful!?!?!? I love Sinful Colors and Love this collection!

Woah! Can we say nail polish Hiatus!!!
Phew, hello to my lovely followers! My how I have missed you all! I took a long break in doing my nails.....like close to a month. I just looked and sure enough, the last time I posted was February 3rd, however, I had that posted a week before I had it set to post. If that makes sense. I have been painting the kids bedrooms, etc. Just have been super duper busy!
Anyway, back to blogging about polish! Phew!
Today, is a Thursday and normally my son has Cub Scouts, but it worked out that he didn't today, something with the school having a different event there tonight. My house is cleaned....or should I say WAS cleaned spotless. Those with children, especially with toddlers, know how long a clean house lasts. :-) Any-who, I figured I would FINALLY do my nails. I couldn't decide on a color, so I asked my friends over on one of the facebook groups I'm a part of to pick 3 colors. There were a bunch of different combos posted, so I just grabbed colors. Someone suggested pink, blue, and purple. I went to my stash and looked, I grabbed all Zoya of course, Dana (pink), Yummy (blue), and Perrie (purple). I couldn't decide what I wanted to do so I decided trying my hand at water marbling again. I LOVE to do water marble. However, it's been a while since I've done so, so they didn't turn out like I had planned but I still think they came out neat! :-)
I started off with White on White as my base color on my nail. Then I took Dana, Yummy, and Perrie, in that order, repeated 4 times, and a dropped each in my bowl of water. Then I took a toothpick and made no special design just put lines in it and dipped each finger....this is how they came out. My left hand turned out better of course....I REALLY messed up my right hand. Enjoy the pictures....excuse the ugly cuticles, they have been unattended to for a bit....
I think it is so weird how my middle nail turned out on this one^^^^^
And for grins and giggles, my right hand.....my thumb took a tooth pick to it as I was trying to move the polish away from it, and so did my pointer....
I hope you all enjoyed!!!

OPI -DS Sapphire
Ah it's the WEEKEND! I hope you all have a great one! I figured I would end the week with another one of OPI's DS polish's. This beauty is Sapphire. I used two coats of Zoya - Jo, then I topped her with two coats of the Sapphire Holo. I said in my previous posts that I just LOVE this line. I wish I was able to find more of them! We haven't had much sun so I apologize that my holos are very holo-ish in the pictures. :-( I hope you all enjoyed my posts this week and everyone has a fun and safe weekend!

Spring Fever
Well, a while back I had a little bit of "spring fever". I am sick of the nasty cold weather and ready for some nice spring weather. So I decided to do a fun manicure that was a springy type manicure! I used Zoya Jolene as my base color, then I stamped with Zoya Moxie, which by the way comes thru as a lighter pink. Then I used a dotting tool with Zoya Yummy (the blue) and Zoya Pippa (the yellow) to make the center of the flowers. I love this manicure, it came out so nice! I hope you all enjoy it! I was only able to get one picture though because I forgot to take it from my camera and only took it with my phone.

OPI Designer Series Holos
Happy Hump Day! I hope you are all having a great week! A while back a good friend of mine, Jacque, went dusty hunting and scored some OPI Designer Series polish, and I scored 6 different ones. So today on the list to blog about is DS - Desire. I just love this line and I am so happy I was able to get the ones I got. I do not have much experience with Holographic nail polish so when I used this one, I did not put a base color underneath it, so it took 4 coats of polish to get the look I got. But I still love it. What do you all think?

O-P-I Designer Series
First I want to say Happy Tuesday and HAPPY BIRTHDAY to my little man. Well, not so little man. It's hard to believe he is 9 years old today! Here, I will share a picture of him when he was a wee baby and now. He was 5 months old in the baby picture, and the "now" picture is of him at his birthday party this past Saturday. Makes me tear up a bit. Okay...anyway! LOL.
So, my friend Jacque went dusty hunting and found some OPI - DS and I was able to snatch up 6 of them! OMG I LOOOOOOVE them! One of the ones I was able to snatch up was Original. Apparently EVERYONE wants Original and I can see why. She is so gorgeous! I put two coats of Zoya - Perrie then I used two coats of OPI DS - Original. What do you lovies think???

I am in Love with Zoya!
Happy Monday everyone! What is your favorite brand of polish? I'd have to say my all time favorite is Zoya. I just love them. Every time I use one of my Zoyas I say to myself "why don't I own every single Zoya color?"
Today I am blogging about the manicure I just did. I used Zoya Dana as my base color, shes a beauty. I then used Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear - Black Out for my stamping. After that dried I used O.P.I. Designer Series - Passion as my tips. I took my color club strip-er - Black Hologram for my stripe. I absolutely love this manicure that I have many others I could blog but just wanted to share this one with you all. Unfortunately, my stupid pictures came out so shadowed today and I'm not sure why. Anyway, I hope you enjoy; ignore my stubby nails. I had to file them down because as I was cleaning Friday and getting ready for my sons birthday party, I broke them. :-(

What is YOUR nail polish color choice?
Hello all and HAPPY MONDAY!
I'm just curious, what is your nail polish color choice? My favorite color is PINK however, I tend to buy more purples then anything. I am not sure why I always buy purples, purple isn't my most favorite color. And I realized they are so difficult to photograph. But I always buy them, and I LOVE them when they are on; so if anyone has any tips for photographing purples DO share with me.
In this post I will be talking about Sinful Colors - Daddys Girl. I see it as a gel type formula. I absolutly LOOOOOOVE this polish. I got it in a swap I did with my good friend Jacque. It was easy for me to apply, I love the after look, I just love this polish period. I can't wait until I use it again. It is BEAUTIFUL. I used three coats and to me it turned out A-MA-ZING! What do you lovelies think?
Again it is so hard to photograph, it looks like its a blue, it really is a deep purple. And BEAUTIFUL!

Velvet Bow by China Glaze Review
Hello everyone! I hope you are all having a wonderful weekend! I am in the process of potty training my two year old, so it's been pretty busy and hectic around here, but I think we are making progress!
Anyway, China Glaze sent me a few polish's to do for review. I do want to mention that I was NOT compensated for my opinion on this polish. Now on to my review. I will be straight up honest; I do NOT like Velvet Bow. It was very thick and kind of difficult for me to put on, yet at the same time I needed three coats because you could see thru it. I did not think with a polish so dark that it would need three coats. I didn't necessarily like the color, it's a dark red/purple color.
I added some Flakies to it; I put on Finger Paints - Asylum, and to be honest, I still don't like it. I'm not even really sure why, maybe because we had a fight when I was applying it. I also went to mention, it did not clean up well; you can see in these pictures, it stained my skin. :-(

Polka Dot Mani
Hello all! Happy Hump Day! Today I tried a mani and it did NOT work out. I got aggravated so I took it off and started over. I really like the way they turned out FINALLY but wish I used a smaller "dot". I knew I wanted to use a pink, so I ended up using Orly - Sweet Temptation as my base color. Such a beautiful color and I could have probably only used one coat, but I'm a two coat-er to say the least. :-) I would describe this color as a rosie color, just beautiful! I then taped it off and painted Zoya - Anja on the tips of my nails. I took a silver nail art stripe tool to seperate the two colors. Then I took my dotting tool (by the way best invention EVER), and made my silver dots. To make the dots I used Wet 'N Wild Wild Shine- Metallica. I think this manicure turned out rather well!

For Audrey - Nubar 2010
Happy Monday everyone! I hope you all had a great weekend.! I had a great weekend myself, I had a nice relaxing weekend with my son, just him and I. It was a great time.
Today, I must get back to blogging. I probably have a weeks worth of blogs to do. So today, I'm going to start with a manicure I gave myself a few weeks back. It sort of reminded me a winter, or snow. :-) I think because of the "glistening" look that Nubar 2010 gave it. For Christmas I received a few gift certificates to Amazon and wasn't sure what polish's I wanted to get, however, I knew I wanted to get polish. :-) My good friend Jamie, is my personal shopper when I don't know what to get, so two of the polish's she suggested were China Glaze-For Audrey and Nubar-2010. One day I said I am going to use For Audrey, she was absolutely BEAUTIFUL alone, but I still wanted to add something to her, so I tried Nubar-2010, I LOVE how this manicure turned out :-) What do you think? Click on the picture to enlarge :-)

Happy Thursday!
Hello lovies! Sorry I have not been updating, I've been super busy and to be honest, I keep forgetting to take pictures of my nails. :-o Oh well, back in the swing of things now. First, I want to say THANK you for following me. :-) I am thinking of doing a give-a-way when I hit 100 followers. So share with your family and friends!
This post is with some polish I got in a swap. I used Seche Vite - Rebuild as my base coat, which by the way is AMAZING. I then used two coats of Sally Hansen - Insta-Dri - Slick Slate as my main color, which is a lovely color. Then I topped it with two coats of Essie's - A Cut Above! I absolutely adored this manicure!
What would you all like to see in a giveaway?

Nubar Prism Collection - Absolute
I did not own any Nubar, but my good friend Jamie from Nails Adored is my personal shopper and tells me what I should buy. So she suggested Nubar 2010, which I bought but I also bought a couple other Nubars. And Absolute was one of them. Absolute is absolutely gorgeous :-) I get lazy some times when I do my nails and don't feel like putting all the coats I would like. This one could have probably used 4 coats in my opinion. It's very sheer when you put the first coat on. I used 3 coats, it still came out rather pretty. So I used one coat of Seche Vite - Rebuild formula, three coats of Nubar - Absolute, one coat of Seche Vite - top coat, then I used my dotting tool with Zoya - Kylie2 to make a flower, and used my dotting tool with Zoya - Pippa for the inside of the flower. I thought this manicure turned out rather well. :-)
